Seasons to Appreciate

February has been a busy month and March is just around the corner. I can’t wait. A Robin Redbreast appeared this week. He may be a bit ahead of schedule, but it does mean spring will arrive. The garden is currently under more than a foot of snow and more is coming. The seeds, however, have arrived and it’s almost time to begin the seedlings.

Spring is a great reminder that all things can be made anew. New flowers, leaves, grass and yes, even weeds. I’m sure my appreciation for spring comes from living through the winter. Without the winter, I might grow to take the lovely seasons for granted. So, I appreciate winter, too.

Right now I’m busy writing a play for a teen drama class I’ll be teaching. What fun! It’s a mystery comedy. Not exactly Jessica Fletcher, but close.

I hope everyone is doing well. Drop me a line anytime to let me know how the outside world is doing. :-)

Hugs,
Beth
