Life in the Fast Lane

Greetings,

Yes, it seems my best efforts to write more often have not materialized as I had hoped. But I’m writing now. That’s what counts, right? Sometimes it’s hard to find time for all the things I want to do when you’re living in the fast lane of fall.

Most of you know what I’m talking about. It’s the time of year when school starts and all the activities associated with our kids begins to fly at warp speed. And I’m sure, there are a few of you who can sympathize with a parent whose oldest child has just begun Driver’s Education. Yikes! Let me tell you…..settling yourself in the passenger seat for the first time is more stressful that I anticipated. What! No steering wheel or brake on my side? Not that I didn’t try putting my foot through the floor more than once.

All in all, my oldest really is a good driver. It does add, however, another dimension to area of motherly concern…another item to give over to God. That list seems to be growing at warp speed, too.

So, between driver’s education, volleyball, music lessons, fine arts group, and speech and debate class….life is quite full. My writing is on hold right now until I settle my father’s estate. No small task, I might add.

I hope everyone is having a blessed and full start to the fall schedule…even if the calendar hasn’t declared it yet. What does it know!

Drop me a line through the website on what’s happening this fall with your family and I might add some of your thoughts in my next blog.

Love Always,

Beth
