Colonial Williamsburg Carriage Ride78 viewsThe carriage ride is a must when visiting Colonial Williamsbug. We had a great trip to see the Christmas decorations and traditions. Don't be fooled by short-sleeve weather...it was December. You won't hear me complaining about the wonderful warm weather.

Ferry Service to the Island56 viewsThe ferry boat ride to the island is part of the ambiance. The Bay Island book (first in the series) opens with Lauren coming to the island on the ferry. For those who need faster action, there is the Jet Express that is much faster and fancier.

ACW Conference Panel29 viewsOne of the best gems from any conference is the question-and-answer time with the panel of speakers. In this particular picture, Gail Gaymer Martin is answering a question from one of the conferees. From left to right: Holly Miller, Gail Gaymer Martin, a guest panelist, Faye Landrum, and Connie Cameron. 6-7-08

Christmas in July58 viewsDillion State Park held "Christmas in July" and we had a wonderful time singing Christmas Carols in 80-degree weather. Jessica seems happy, but Erica is a bit Humbug! Camping will never be the same.

Sunset Literary Club 100th Anniversary9 views The Sunset Literary Club celebrated their 100th anniversary. The club was organized on April 22, 1910. I'm proud to serve as their current president. I was fortunate to be the one to induct our very first male member (I'm standing next to him in the pic) who is the Hilltop Library manager.

Ohio Village Dickens of a Christmas15 viewsHere is Erica in the Ohio Village Farm House for their Dickens of a Christmas. She especially loved to gross out the kids with the cow tongue. Anyone for plum pudding…..which does not have plums or pudding as ingredients? No cow tongue, either.
