Ohio Village Dicken's Christmas19 viewsErica and I had a very unique opportunity to volunteer at the Ohio Village for their, "Dicken's of a Christmas". The setting is circa 1850. We worked two weekends in a variety of places including the funeral parlor (see other picture), freight station, toy shop, farm house, and church. It was great to go back in time. 12-19-08

1970's Camp Photo12 viewsOkay, this photo goes along with my April 09 blog. We have a new digital retro-tv channel (no I don't have cable) that has reunited me with the old 1970's show called "Emergency!". I loved that show. In this photo I'm at church camp where I brought along my two small posters of paramedics Johnny Gage and Roy DeSoto. Wow!

Beth at the Wheel44 viewsThis six-seater golf cart has a lot of pep. Tilly Storm would have liked this one. With me at the wheel, this cart could zoom past the four-seaters. We were the envy of the island.

Ohio Village Dickens of a Christmas7 viewsHere is Erica in the Ohio Village Farm House for their Dickens of a Christmas. She especially loved to gross out the kids with the cow tongue. Anyone for plum pudding…..which does not have plums or pudding as ingredients? No cow tongue, either.
